The Grammar Index is a handy tool to help you understand language structure. The color-coded layout allows you to quickly spot different grammar elements, making it easier to understand how the language works as you watch shows and videos on Lingopie.
How to Use the Grammar Index
- Set up the Grammar Index: Click the wrench icon in the upper-right corner while watching the show. A pop-up window will open where you’ll see “Grammar Index” – simply select when it should be displayed during playback.
- Visualize parts of speech:Each word is color-coded by type:
- Nouns – Blue
- Verbs – Pink
- Adjectives – Green
- Adverbs – Brown
- Click a word for details: See examples, usage, and context from shows or videos.
- Add to “My Vocab” (optional): Save words for later review and practice.
- Apply while watching: Use the color cues to reinforce grammar rules as you watch, helping you understand sentence structure and improve comprehension.
