How Do I Cancel My Lingopie Subscription?

Want to cancel your subscription? You can do it anytime. Future payments will stop, but you’ll keep access until the end of your billing period. Follow the steps below based on your subscription method.


What to Expect During the Cancellation Process

When you start the cancellation process, you'll go through a few short steps designed to help you choose the option that works best for you:

  • Plan review: You’ll see different plan options, in case another membership type better suits your needs.
  • Quick feedback: We’ll ask for brief feedback about your experience. Your input helps us continue improving Lingopie.
  • Continued access: After canceling, you’ll still have full access to Lingopie until the end of your current billing cycle.


Canceling with a Credit Card

If you subscribed with a credit card:

  1. Go to your Profile Page → click the bottom left corner → Settings → Account, or visit this link.
  2. Under Plan, click Update Membership to cancel your main Lingopie subscription.  If you have additional products, such as private or group lessons, you can cancel those subscriptions separately under the same section.
  3. Choose Cancel Subscription.

Note: Lifetime subscriptions are non-cancellable. Since it’s a one-time payment, there is no recurring subscription to cancel.

FAQ

Will I be charged if I cancel during the free trial?

No. If you cancel before your trial ends, you won’t be charged.


How do I cancel if I subscribed using the mobile app?

If you subscribed via the Google Play Store, Apple App Store or PayPal, cancellation must be done through the respective app store.


Can I get a refund if I cancel before the end of my billing cycle?

In most cases, Lingopie does not issue refunds for unused time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period.

Refunds may be available only if:

  • You were mistakenly charged after canceling during the free trial (and reported it within the trial period).
  • There was a billing error, such as an incorrect amount or a duplicate charge.


Important notes on refunds:

  • Payments through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or PayPal are handled by those platforms; refund requests must be directed to them.
  • Refund requests for direct payments (credit card) must be emailed to support@lingopie.com within 14 days of the charge, including your full name, account email, and charge date.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 2–3 business days and sent back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take up to 10 days to appear in your account. 


Refunds are not offered for:

  • Requests made after the free trial period has ended.
  • Failure to contact customer support via the designated email.
  • Partial or non-use of the service during a billing period.
